The Team
Dr Cal Minnaar
Team Leader and owner of the practice for more than 25 years. He has a special interest in implant dentistry, and all aspects of surgical dentistry especially surgical wisdom teeth removal as well as full dental rehabilitation of the mouth e.g. Hollywood smile is his forte. His confidence lies in providing the best service to the patient with modern equipment and up to date techniques to ensure patient satisfaction.
Dr Johan Stoop
He completed his degree at the University of Pretoria in 1975. PDD Implantology (UWC) 2010. Certificate in Orthodontics (Skipp Truitt). He is a friendly, knowledgable general dentist with vast experience and knowledge in the dental field built up over the years by having his own practice before joining our team in 2012.
Dr Melinda du Plessis
She completed her degree at the University of Pretoria in 2014. Postgraduate Certificate in Implantology at the Implant Aesthetic Academy in 2018. She has continued education training in Easthetics as this is her special interest in Dentistry. She is passionate about her work, dedicated to providing her patients with the best treatment available and all the spheres of Dentistry from crown and bridge work, surgery, general to paediatric dentistry. She enjoys treating families as she gets to know everyone personally. She joined the team in 2016.
Oral Hygienists
Two Oral Hygienists on site to provide cutting edge scale and polishes with the latest technological advancements in dentistry with their new machine called EMS from Switzerland. They are very passionate about providing as minimal discomfort as possible to achieve the best oral hygiene a patient can have. Their knowledge of choosing the best oral hygiene product for each individual is highly recommended as each patients' needs are unique.
